The ADAM Family History

I have always had a fascination with History and stories of the past. I would sit in amazement listening to my grandparents for hours on end, tell us tales of my ancestors, the good times and the bad, which I would picture so vividly in my mind.

During the past few years of my life, I have dedicated a considerable amount of time in to finally documenting my family tree. This site is the culmination of my research along with some very nice photographs and newspaper clippings from my relatives' collections.

Imagine the hardships that each of our ancestors had to face on a daily basis. Try living without running water, indoor plumbing, electricity, telephones, automobiles even for a day! It is because of the choices our ancestors made and the hardships they had to overcome, that have given us all the opportunities that we are presented with today.

It has taken years of countless nights spent deciphering handwriting over two centuries old. There are many records that are still to be found, as I could spend an entire lifetime and still only document a fraction of them. There are still land records, probate records, wills, family bibles, old photographs, maps and much more which should be found and included in the future updates of this project.

I have had such a great time researching our family history and feel wealthy beyond measure in the knowledge I have gained along the way. I only wish all of you could experience the journey I have taken to document our family tree. I am proud to say I am a part of each of these families I have researched, and I am honored to carry on their names.
