Theresa P. Wrobel - Woonsocket
Theresa P. (Kosiba) Wrobel,
92, formerly of Woonsocket and Uxbridge, Mass., died Dec. 8 at St. Elizabeth
Home in East Greenwich.She
was the wife of the late Charles Wrobel. Born Jan. 7, 1915, in Manchester, N.H.,
she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Oleszkiewicz) Kosiba. She was
a seamstress at various textile companies in the Blackstone Valley for many
years, retiring in 1980.
She was a communicant
the Polish National Catholic Church of Our Saviour in Woonsocket and was a member
of the church's Ladies Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament Society. She
also was a former member of the Uxbridge Senior Citizens. She leaves a son,
John C. Wrobel of Cumberland; a daughter, Joan M. Young of Queensland, Australia;
and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the
late Walter Kosiba, Paul Kosiba and Frances Balzani.
Her funeral will be held
Saturday, Dec. 15, at 9:30 a.m. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave.,
Woonsocket, with a Requiem Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the Polish
National Catholic Church of Our Saviour, 500 Smithfield Road, Woonsocket. Burial
will be in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend
and may call Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the Polish National Catholic Church of Our Saviour.
