YO SISTER RUTHIE

Happy Sister child of God,

You have won a glorious crown,

Among the jewel of the Lord,

You will surely there be found,

For he knows that thou art faithful,

And he knows that thou art resign,

And his grace and love will keep you,

Through this life and for all time,

Yes he knows your bitter sorrows,

And the trials that you bear,

But he charms whom he loveth,

He will all your sorrows share,

Hide with Christ Oh! Happy Sister,

Yes your name is bright and fair,

On the saviours book of glory,

You have made a record there,

Sheltered with the Loving Saviour,

Oh! My Sister thou art blessed,

In Christ's Kingdom Oh! how lovely,

You will find eternal rest,
